my cats get a jump on spring with some video catnip

Here are all three of my cats (the pampered indoor-only gang as opposed to the pampered outside-garage three) in one short video clip that warms my heart because it shows their personalities and why I love them so much.

Pure white Feather (14 years old) and Willow (one year+) sit together in front of the tv to watch a VHS tape titled Video Catnip, while Shiva Lullaby (two years+) watches the scene from a favorite chair.....

Your cats have manners and great personality. They are so lucky to be with you dear Lydia.

Pampered cats... why do I like the sound of that? LOL. I wish the cats that visit us are as cute as yours. All we have here are street cats that belong to neighbors. One, in particular, gives me the creeps coz it's a black cat that sometimes appear out of nowhere... reminds me of the "glitch" scene from the Matrix. Give my regards to those kitties. =)

I like the way the cats will turn at look at you as if saying "you're filming me aren't you?" they look just like my kids when I approach them with a camera or when they are watching their favorite TV show.
Great fur-kids!

Phivos~ Why, thank you for noticing what good cats they are. And I think I am quite lucky to have them. :)

Ryhen's Mind~ I did give my kitties your best regards. Of course they are sent in return. They wanted me to let you know that a couple of hardened strays have become dear pets after much patience all around. This one, Bootsie was one of a kind. I think you'd like his story...

Alyssa Ast~ My pleasure! You have kitties?

Viridian~ Exactly, that is what it looks like they are asking! From your comment I am now positive you have marvelous kids!
(I wish I could know the story behind your profile photo...maybe the story is there in a post at your blog.)

These videos on your site are so great, Lydia! I miss having cats...I have two large older dogs who I'm afraid would eat them...and I love visiting blogs where cats are showcased. I especially loved the Surprised Kitty...I could watch it over and over.

One day I will have cats again...they have always been my favourites!

my own little willow is doing really well - she's a lot more vocal these days though and the other night she complained about the state of her litter tray

complained all over the bed, that is, at four am!

We're trying to befriend a cat that we think has been abandoned so we can get it checked by a vet and maybe re-housed. Willow wouldn't like a new cat around at her age, but yours look lovely

Kim~ I hope it is still available, and preferably in dvd. So far they have not tired of it.

Marion~ I love that you love the Surprised Kitty that much. I view it here at least once a week. You'll have cats again in the future and they will be lucky kitties. :)

Pixies~ Ah, do you think that your own little Willow is acting out as an act of sorrow over losing her companion? Long ago now I had a cat named Cirrus who lived to be 16 and her acting out on the bed like that was the beginning of kidney disease...
One of the reasons I grabbed the camera to film this scene is because it is the first time that Feather has ever chosen to sit beside Willow for any reason. You're right, when they are old they don't adapt to newbies really well so this was a real breakthrough.
I need to visit your blog...am behind. :(

Riyadh~ Aren't they bright and beautiful? Each gives us such sweet love. It's great to have a visit from you, as I was thinking about you just yesterday and realizing I need to visit your blog.
