I must be travelling in strange circles. This is the fourth or fifth poem I've read on the same prompt. All good! You have created an interesting dialogue here. Though I found it quite sad.
I really enjoyed your play with barks! good sounds ! Thanks.( The Sun article is Aug. and the interview: "What ails us" Gabor Matewhom I am glad to have been introduced to. Controversial in some circles-)
haha that is awesome....really nicely done on the dialogue and funny to ponder at their thoughts...best friends indeed...smiles..
Great interpretation of the psychology of dog and doglover.
Sorry tech error...I dont know what Rob felt was sad...I like your spin from the promptWander
how cool...love the dialogue and sounds like the beginning of a beautiful friendship indeed...nothing can beat the loyalty of a dog i guess
Rob-bear~ You are traveling in excellent circles if you are reading Mags. Don't know why my Mag would sadden you.izzy~ Play with barks...clever you! My standard poodle, Bonbon, actually does count to five. I can mix it all up and she never gets the command wrong. She is brilliant!August....I will have to go through my stacks because I don't think I read the article. Thanks.Brian~ Thanks much! Your comment was awesome. :)Doctor FTSE~ I am honored you think so. And I really like your new profile pic. Wander~ I have those tech tricks all the time! Thank you for letting me know you don't think the dialogue is sad!claudia~ Thanks so much. I think it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship, most definitely. I think I remember you writing sometime that you have not had a dog. Maybe one will adopt you sometime, Claudia!
What an excellent team you make , Lydia, so much more than mere pets, these creatures , thanks. Thanks for dropping by, blogger can be technicalky trying
haha... I wonder if dogs could spek instead of woof, if they would swear back at us.... LOLI guess it's all in their growls and how they use their own snarling facial expressions too.Love is love whether they cuss and swear with attitude or not.A lifetime relationship right there :)Loved this unique and very clever take on the pic really made me SMILE this morning
Darn ...I hate making typos and hitting enter before I see them... LOL That should have read *speak! Sheesh!... woof!
Lydia- this is awesome cnversation-I haven't had a dog in decades-but you have pegged those four footed family members. Woof!and thanks so much for all the nice comments you have been writing to me! Bonbon really counts to five! What a smarty!
there's a theory that dogs can have as many as three different namesThe names we give them, the breed name and the secret name known only to themselves and the packGreat piece of writing
I like the creative presentation ~ Here we go ~
Kutamun~ Thank you for stopping by. That little glitch over at your blog was quite interesting!Daydreamertoo~ Makes me happy to know this made you smile! I appreciated your comment (and read speak from the beginning!).Kathe~ It's always a pleasure to your blog! After reading your comment here I decided that I must make a video of Bonbon counting on command. We have an audio recording from years ago, but that's not the same. I'll let you know when I post to youtube.Pixies~ Wow, I love that theory and it makes sense to me. Makes me truly wonder what Abby and Bonbon called one another. They were so close and Bonbon sure knows who we are talking about when we bring up Abby's name. Strange to think that she may be translating it into the secret name.goatman~ Well, okay!!!Grace~ Thanks; it was fun to fool around with.
Great stuff. Read it twice. First time didn't quite understand, second time did and smiled!Anna :o]
hyperCRYPTICal~ I so appreciate you reading it twice to get it. I admit that it is a bit "out there." I get into some weird moods sometimes!
Lydia ~~~ this is dogright precious!
Helen~ Thanks so much. :)
