Unplugged
Mike has just given me the gift of two nights alone at the Oregon coast. I just ran him through all the animal feeding chores and he has a list, so I know all will be well here. I have reservations at a place I've never stayed before, and it's right next door to one of my favorite restaurants. I'll be getting over there too late this evening to take advantage of their early dinner specials, but will be sure to do that tomorrow night.
I've packed four books that have been sitting on my desk untouched. No computer. I need this.
I posted this video when my blog was quite new but I'm sharing it again because I took the video at Lincoln City where I'm heading. right. now...

BEGINNING IN 2014 I will reply to only occasional comments here, while appreciating every visit and all comments! My reason is to enable me to utilize that time to read and comment on your blog posts instead! If/when I get more organized I may later return to replying to comments here, but one of my New Years resolutions is to spend more time at your sites: reading, enjoying, learning! Thank you for understanding.
If your blog is associated with a Google+ account, I may not be able to visit you from your namelink. I do not wish to join Google+ and the site sometimes requires that I do so in order to read/comment on posts there.
Wonderful. I hope you come back refreshed!
ReplyDeletelooks like a nice beach - hope the gull didn't crash into the camera (looks like it was about to!)
ReplyDeleteHope a good time was had by all :)
I'm anxious to catch up on your blogs after I get some sleep...
ReplyDeleteWW,
I used your word "refreshed" to describe how I feel after a nice trip to the beach. :)
DFTP,
It's a really nice beach. Luckily, the gull avoided crashing into the camera in the kite video, but it really was a windy day. I got more gull photos this trip and will post them the next two days.
