for every pulse a thanksgiving

Best of all is it to preserve everything in a pure, still heart, and let there be for every pulse a thanksgiving, and for every breath a song.

-- Konrad von Gesner

Postscript after posting: Although the painter and name of painting show at the top of screen by clicking on the picture, I'm adding this information here so as to not cause confusion. I so much love the Hudson River School of painting and I chose this work by Thomas Moran for this post. The title of the painting is Under Trees (The Autumnal Woods).

  4. RaccoonLover,
Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to you. (Our raccoons are back in the tree but the trellis appears to be serving as protection for the bark.)

    Distracted,
And Happy TDay to you, too. There's much to be grateful for. Enjoy the day with your family.

    Buddha,
Your friendship is a blessing to me, too. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

  5. What a stunning photo. I could lose myself on that path. It reminds me of a painting done by an old master and hanging in a gallery.

    Enjoy Thanksgiving.
