Willow loves the Portland Trail Blazers

Willow, our very own special Portland Trail Blazers fan, watches as her team wins game 4 against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday afternoon.

The two teams are now tied in this round of the NBA Playoffs.

The next game is in Phoenix Monday night.

Willow will be watching.

GO BLAZERS!

~~~
In my first year as a resident of Oregon, the Blazers won the world championship. The days following there was a jubilation and esprit de corps that I will never forget:
The 1976-77 world champion Portland Trail Blazers were a miracle, born, like Gaia, spontaneously, from nowhere, from utter chaos.
  1. As a non-sports fan I am wondering of perhaps she is trying to turn the TV off?;-)
  2. Too cute! During the Super Bowl we put the Puppy Bowl on TV. instead. Pickles loves it! She runs back and forth to the TV. If I didn't know better I would think she was refereeing. (Hugs)Indigo
  3. I love this. Hope the Blazers win! We were Laker fans till Koby got into trouble (he got into trouble here in Colo. of course) and they got rid of Shaq. We don't watch anymore.
    I'm rooting with you, GO BLAZERS :)
  4. That is so cute and funny. Willow really is into the action.
    Of course if I paid attention any more I would be rooting for the Suns.
  5. Ah, I love it when cats watch TV... ours do too sometimes, always a hilarious moment, distracted from whatever was on the boob tube...
    And funny, by WV was "obbesse", which I guess is what happens when the word "obese" gets obese...
  6. Kim~ And you know that I love it that you love her!
    La Belette Rouge~ Ever since she saw this video made for cats she has paid much more attention to TV. Tonight, for instance, she watched Brian William's entire evening news report! (I'm not a huge sports fan, but I am a big Blazers fan. :)
    Indigo~ Pickles has a big personality, and acting as if a referee is really something! :)
    Looking to the Stars~ The game is an hour away as I write my reply to you. Go Blazers! (I had a stretch of non-fan years when some former Blazer players got into trouble, also. They make way too much money to screw up...at least that's my opinion!)
    Darlene~ She is my little love, that's for sure.
    Of course, I know you would support the Suns if you still watched! I have to admit to greatly admiring the Suns' player, Nash. He is remarkable.
    Owen~ That's fun to know your cats watch TV too, and interesting that some aren't as drawn to it as others. I wonder what that really says about their brains!
    (That was a funny WV....and it took me a few minutes to figure out what "WV" stood for, so that was funny too.)
  7. We have some pictures of a younger, chubbier Zoe batting at the television, though she seems to be more of a bird and nature fan than a sports lover. Anyway, Willow is very cute. And attentive.
  8. Jennifer~ I am not sure if Willow would have even noticed the action of the bouncing ball and players running back and forth across the court if she had not first viewed and fallen in love with her own kitty video of birds and squirrels. I tend to think not. She sends regards to Zoe...
