Old Postcard Wednesday--Pueblo of Santo Domingo, New Mexico (view number two)
Please see last Wednesday's old postcard for the view number one of the Pueblo of Santo Domingo, and for additional information on the Pueblo, its people, and their art.
I liked this short but powerful video taken in the area in June 2007.
whitneypurvis, who shot this short .43 video wrote that she took this footage on 6.9.07 on northbound I-25 near santo domingo pueblo between santa fe and albuquerque . (Her video was featured on both Good Morning America and CNN later that week.)
If you read comments after last Wednesday's post about Santo Domingo Pueblo you undoubtedly enjoyed, as I did, the comments by the author of Don't Feed the Pixies. The following video is intended to bring to life his witty reaction to the postcard scene. Thanks for the inspiration, Pixie Man.

This is a trailer I made for Spaghetti Westerns, featuring the films:
A Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
The Good the Bad and the Ugly

BEGINNING IN 2014 I will reply to only occasional comments here, while appreciating every visit and all comments! My reason is to enable me to utilize that time to read and comment on your blog posts instead! If/when I get more organized I may later return to replying to comments here, but one of my New Years resolutions is to spend more time at your sites: reading, enjoying, learning! Thank you for understanding.
If your blog is associated with a Google+ account, I may not be able to visit you from your namelink. I do not wish to join Google+ and the site sometimes requires that I do so in order to read/comment on posts there.

he he! thanks for the mention. I love The Good, The Bad & The Ugly - especially the last 20 minutes or so - from the fight at the bridge onwards. It's such a sprawling film you can't help but like it.
ReplyDeleteBut yes, there is a lot of squinting at the end - maybe it's the sun?
There's a general-trivia show here called QI (Quite Interesting) and it questions established facts with possible answers - i'm sure that's where i heard that the UK has more tornados than Florida per year, but most are small, at sea or do little damage. The one that you show here looks like it means business!
Don't Feed the Pixies~ I love that movie too. The clip brought back lots of memories, and I still can't get over the fact that Clint Eastwood is an old man now.
ReplyDeleteYour trivia is always interesting (the show sounds like a hoot).
