  1. I must be travelling in strange circles. This is the fourth or fifth poem I've read on the same prompt. All good!

You have created an interesting dialogue here. Though I found it quite sad.

( The Sun article is Aug. and the interview: "What ails us" Gabor Mate
whom I am glad to have been introduced to. Controversial in some circles-)

  7. Rob-bear~ You are traveling in excellent circles if you are reading Mags. Don't know why my Mag would sadden you.

izzy~ Play with barks...clever you! My standard poodle, Bonbon, actually does count to five. I can mix it all up and she never gets the command wrong. She is brilliant!
August....I will have to go through my stacks because I don't think I read the article. Thanks.

Brian~ Thanks much! Your comment was awesome. :)

Doctor FTSE~ I am honored you think so. And I really like your new profile pic.

Wander~ I have those tech tricks all the time! Thank you for letting me know you don't think the dialogue is sad!

claudia~ Thanks so much. I think it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship, most definitely. I think I remember you writing sometime that you have not had a dog. Maybe one will adopt you sometime, Claudia!

  9. haha... I wonder if dogs could spek instead of woof, if they would swear back at us.... LOL
I guess it's all in their growls and how they use their own snarling facial expressions too.
Love is love whether they cuss and swear with attitude or not.
A lifetime relationship right there :)
Loved this unique and very clever take on the pic really made me SMILE this morning

  12. there's a theory that dogs can have as many as three different names

The names we give them, the breed name and the secret name known only to themselves and the pack

    Great piece of writing

  14. Kutamun~ Thank you for stopping by. That little glitch over at your blog was quite interesting!

Daydreamertoo~ Makes me happy to know this made you smile! I appreciated your comment (and read speak from the beginning!).

Kathe~ It's always a pleasure to your blog! After reading your comment here I decided that I must make a video of Bonbon counting on command. We have an audio recording from years ago, but that's not the same. I'll let you know when I post to youtube.

Pixies~ Wow, I love that theory and it makes sense to me. Makes me truly wonder what Abby and Bonbon called one another. They were so close and Bonbon sure knows who we are talking about when we bring up Abby's name. Strange to think that she may be translating it into the secret name.

    goatman~ Well, okay!!!

Grace~ Thanks; it was fun to fool around with.
