Zombie Chicken Award

The blogger who receives this award believes in the Tao of the zombie chicken - excellence, grace and persistence in all situations, even in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. These amazing bloggers regularly produce content so remarkable that their readers would brave a raving pack of zombie chickens just to be able to read their inspiring words. As a recipient of this world-renowned award, you now have the task of passing it on to at least 5 other worthy bloggers. Do not risk the wrath of the zombie chickens by choosing unwisely or not choosing at all…

On the auspicious occasion of April Fools Day I was honored to receive the Zombie Chicken Award from Distracted by Shiny Objects (A Tidings of Magpies blog), she of recent Blog of Note fame and subsequent skyrocketing amount of followers - numbering 416 at last count; with loose instructions to pass the esteemed award on to five other bloggers who grace my life with their mirth and intelligence (of which my blogroll and reading lists solely consist) thereby making said awarding of the Zombie Chicken a difficult decision, but not so difficult that I feel content with passing it on to the following five bloggers:

RB, The Wicked Witch of the Web

Kim, Perfectly Cursed Life

Erin, Poor Penmanship

Hungry Pixies, Don't Feed the Pixies

and -

Adam, The Boring Life, for scratching around in the blogosphere again after his hiatus and as a reminder that the punishment for not blogging will be a truly hideous 17th birthday party next January hosted by a flock of angry-ass Zombie Chickens.

  4. Hey, thanks! My great-grandparents once had a legendary rooster named Oscar. While he wasn't a zombie, he did attack a lot of my relatives.

BEGINNING IN 2014 I will reply to only occasional comments here, while appreciating every visit and all comments! My reason is to enable me to utilize that time to read and comment on your blog posts instead! If/when I get more organized I may later return to replying to comments here, but one of my New Years resolutions is to spend more time at your sites: reading, enjoying, learning! Thank you for understanding.

If your blog is associated with a Google+ account, I may not be able to visit you from your namelink. I do not wish to join Google+ and the site sometimes requires that I do so in order to read/comment on posts there.
