Intimates
She finally loved herself for who he really was.
They were intimates together in that body that bled no more, was growing hair where it always belonged. His doctors promised her that surgery was feasible once the hormones adjusted.
He told her it was time to cut their hair and call their folks in Natchez.

BEGINNING IN 2014 I will reply to only occasional comments here, while appreciating every visit and all comments! My reason is to enable me to utilize that time to read and comment on your blog posts instead! If/when I get more organized I may later return to replying to comments here, but one of my New Years resolutions is to spend more time at your sites: reading, enjoying, learning! ReplyDeleteooh, unexpected! I read the first line and in conjunction with the picture was thinking something along the lines of insecure relationship. Which, on second though, is way too obvious, ha!
