Mag 156 — Colonial for sale


For sale: 17 acres w/ 19th-Century center hall colonial. 
Parcel includes colonial house that is the shell and needs renovation inside. The rolling pastures make this an excellent property for cattle or horses. Land contains large spring fed pond; mature oak orchard and small family graveyard in back; vintage property gate with remnants of bluestone walks laid by original builder/owner; original living room with deep fireplace once used for cooking as well as heating the home. Library/music room has original chandelier, always lit.

    Nice approach - i'm just imagining the estate agent showing someone around and saying "Haunted? Blood running down the walls?? Nope - we prefer to say spirit friendly"

    I have no job, credit history, sont know how i will pay back. Any chance of a NINJA loan ?. You can sell the contract later as an asset to a pension fund !. I am so clever.

    I love this!! You win for most original post, and in the top five for most fun to read! I love that you added the detail about the family graveyard. Of course there would be one in back of the house. Can you imagine the calls an ad like this would actually receive?

    What fun - it certainly would be a project to repair; having gutted and restored way too many houses I shivered at the idea! I just had my
    self living in the corner room- :)

    What fascinates me about the painting is that no one seems to go through the gate given all the car tracks and muddy ruts on either side.
