Don’t tell us to spring forward or fall back.
You will never again wind us up to do your bidding,
        Or digitally tweak our lives.
You say time is money.
                   We gave you time.
                                 We gave you money.
You squandered these treasures.

We have fallen back.
        Now  we  march        forward,

And proclaim this Our Time.

Fall Back

This video tells a bit about the history behind Daylight Saving Time, beginning with when the German government first fiddled with it during WWI.
