Swamped on Old Postcard Wednesday

There is the rare occasion that I wimp out on a regular Old Postcard Wednesday post.  I'm just a bit too swamped to do justice to any of the old postcards waiting in line, so I ask your indulgence in a bit of a divergence today.

While thinking about feeling swamped I thought it necessary to find a suitable image (above)......

Since the big band started I'm just always swamped with movies and things. It certainly pays the bills and it's very satisfying, because I get to write all these big charts and all this crazy music.

I am feeling burned out, so am cancelling Old Postcard Wednesday for today. Some extra (and earlier than usual) sleep suddenly seems of the highest importance! I apologize to anyone who came by looking for an OPW post. If you are a regular you know I have not missed very many Wednesdays, and I thank you for understanding my need for a break this week.
