Nice approach - i'm just imagining the estate agent showing someone around and saying "Haunted? Blood running down the walls?? Nope - we prefer to say spirit friendly"
I have no job, credit history, sont know how i will pay back. Any chance of a NINJA loan ?. You can sell the contract later as an asset to a pension fund !. I am so clever.
I love how you picked up on, and explained, that one lit window.
I am reading a novel about a realtor "The Good House" right now, so this was synchronicity for me.
I love this!! You win for most original post, and in the top five for most fun to read! I love that you added the detail about the family graveyard. Of course there would be one in back of the house. Can you imagine the calls an ad like this would actually receive?
What fun - it certainly would be a project to repair; having gutted and restored way too many houses I shivered at the idea! I just had my
self living in the corner room- :)
Clever one, Lydia! Wasn't expecting the clincher "always lit"...
...not to mention a bit of a "fixer-upper!!" Clever take on the prompt.
I WANT this ... gonna turn it into a bed and breakfast!! Come visit.
What fascinates me about the painting is that no one seems to go through the gate given all the car tracks and muddy ruts on either side.
Stunning ending Lydia!....Love what you did with this one! :-)
