Welcome home, my love by teigert
A Danish photographer’s lens captured
blues barely fluttering in blueness.
Such utter passion passing as demure -
the breathless waiting or lack thereof.
A window to a dear heart enraptured
by an old love, or perhaps a newness:
one much assured, the other one obscure.
Yet titled with universal calmness
the everlasting: Welcome home, my love.
Written for Friday Flash 55 - My post in exactly 55 words - for the G-Man.

Funny how the painting totally makes you think of someone waiting for someone else to come home. Beautiful! "Utter passion passing as demure."
nice...you get a sigh from me...this just feels good in the reading of it...nice subtle allit and rhyming carries this softly....very nice...
A blue ridge of sand! great for breath holding purposes!
the breathless waiting or lack thereof.
What a gentle, softly spun poem.
A wonderful tribute.
Beautiful work. You made me see the picture as so much more than I did at first.
Lydia...
Some people can get fantastic inspiration from the most simplest of things.
Loved your Indigo 55
Thanks for playing, you are such a class act, have a Kick Ass Week-End
Yvonne~ Yes, I think I would have thought that even if the photographer had not titled it as he/she did. Quite a capture.
Brian~ Loved your comment. Thank you, so much.
izzy~ You see something here I do not, which is wonderful and magical!
Margaret~ "...gentle..." is how I felt as I wrote it, so thank you for picking up on that.
Linc~ Thanks so much.
Mama Zen~ If that is the case, then I am most pleased.
G-Man~ After I finished this "Indigo 55" I actually thought how much I appreciate you for hosting this weekly prompt. Many thanks, G.
Sigh! So few words; such deep feelings.
Blessings and Bear hugs!
Bears Noting
Am I supposed to see a picture? I don't, but the poem alone made me sigh.
Rob-bear~ Thank you kindly.
Fireblossom~ Hmmmm! Neither do I see a picture. I went to imagekind and the site is completely stripped down. I think they must be working on it, although I was able to sign into my account. Thank you for the alert. The image is the edge of a deep blue curtain shot from inside looking out at blueness. It is so beautiful.
An azuredly elegant poem.
susan~ Thank you kindly. I do wish you could see the photographer's stunning image. I hope imagekind is just down, and that they haven't bumped me from the site for some reason. I wrote an email this evening to their customer care center..... :(
I see the picture now. :-)
me too - it's beautiful
Fireblossom and susan~ Thank you for returning to see the image. It seems that Imagekind had site problems...I am sure glad they are back (both the site and all the images from there that I've shared here!!).
Such utter passion passing as demure -
the breathless waiting or lack thereof.
such a calm overtone to the underlying feelings of intensity.
