They always had style
but never lacked substance.
His first name is Lyle
and her name is Constance.
They love the city—
streets seem paved with gold,
unlike the gritty
country dirt roads of old.
They still smoke and talk
while waiting for the bus,
and will later walk
gray Weimaraner, Gus.
(They get along.)
