A New Season
These breezy autumn mornings!
Bodymind sparks to life
as it never did when
we were together.
Then I drifted from our bed
to my bath and back
there to wake you but
we weren’t together
I am awake these fall mornings!
Tore down the new blinds
to see them and I feel
so damned together.
