Combo: Mag 150 and Friday Flash 55

She never spoke of it afterward — the day she slid into and out of ivory lace that played so teasingly against pink that pink had a patina, the day she stood barefoot at the rough cabin door and sought meaning in ether rising from shoe prints pressed into the mossy path, imprinted into her memory.

Written for The Mag: Mag 150 that inspired with the above photo prompt (image by Daniel Murtagh)

Fortunately I have you saved in my Favorites, but you didn't post a Link, and when I clicked on your Name, I was denied access to your profile and blog.
Maybe thats why there is only One Comment so far!
You call it patina, I call it a nipple.
Loved your dual prompt 55
Thanks for playing, I hope you open up your blog to others, and have a Kick Ass Week-End

i mis-read the word Combo at first and expected to see something about Peter Falk, but i don't even want to think about him in ivory lace...

Quite Beautiful, Lydia. I love the either rising from footprints pressed into the mossy path. Of course she must be barefoot! It's little details like that that make a memorable piece of writing.
