Writerquake was five years old on Feb. 25th, and I felt like it was time for a new blog design.
I am desiring change and a fresh perspective. Deeper sleep. Less stress. Spicy recipes. A change of scenery. Inner peace and composure. Greater insight. Spontaneous laughter. More love.
Anniversaries are just great for contemplation and celebration.....even blog anniversaries.

Happy Anniversary! Now, that picture of a fire watcher up in the mountains doesn't feel like a change of place. Don't you want a south of the border spicy and rich concoction in your hand, rum and coconut and hot sand between your toes?

rosaria~ Thanks! Well, not that the hot sand between my toes doesn't sound just perfect....but I'd take this scene, too. I didn't see it as a fire watcher, per se'... I saw something that felt exactly how I feel right now, though. :)

Have been giving thought to starting it up again, but to be honest I am not sure I can adhere to a schedule like that right now. May one old postcard post per month?... myth~ I always enjoy a visit from you, as you are one of those cyber friends I treasure. My first post is actually fairly easy to access, as it is incorporated into a later OPW post that has been viewed enough times to put it in that "Popular Posts" segment in my sidebar. Look for the one about Red Rocks Theatre. (I'd love to read your first one.)

Brian~ I just found your comment in the spam file. Cannot figure why they would have placed it there with all the messages in Russian! So glad I paid attention before deleting the group because your comment meant a lot to me. Your blog, coming up on 5 years, deserves a new look if you are into doing it (it's such fun, really).

susan~ susan~ I did not paint it, as I am not an artist. I found it at tarot.com, actually and hope that I am not infringing on rights by using it here.
