Her declaration of Self stemmed from her incapacity to any longer hold her feelings like a bud about to burst. Pearls of wisdom, sure, she had those, and they were years strung yet now as easily flung against brick walls as worn with perfect discretion. It was blooming time to show up in her life.

We all hit a time when we need to open up to the energy in ourselves, no matter how cramped that might be.
Great Flash 55!
Blessings and Bear hugs!
of course it was....really like how you used the rose from bud to bloom in this....as part of their relationship
Yep...
There comes a time in your life when it just doesn't matter.
Holding back accomplishes nothing!
Loved your Budding 55 Lydia.
Thanks for playing, thanks for always being so creative, thanks for your great support, and please have a Kick Ass Week-End

Thank you Everyone, for your comments! I am heading over to the Oregon coast and will return on Monday. Will be reading but probably not commenting, and then, of course, trying my best to catch up the beginning of the week. I wish you joy this weekend.
... I say, LIVE! Don't worry about perfection (nor discretion)
Living can be messy...I am so far from perfection I can't find its zip code. Love your rose thoughts
Hi Lydia!
Love your pearls of wisdom. Yeah...don't we all have those and want to fling them out the window, against the bricks, forget all we know, things we can't unsee.
Yes, let's be brave and do this!
That's an explosive poem (pun well and truly intended, by the way). I loved it, loved it, loved it. The short build-up, the suspense and then the master delivery at the end. I loved it even more for being so short. Big up short! We need short in the world today. Many thanks.
Greetings from London.
Hello Everyone~ Your comments were especially meaningful reading them on my tablet while spending some time at the Oregon coast. Cannot thank you enough really!
