When night comes
I stand on the steps and listen,
stars swarm in the yard
and I stand in the dark.
Listen, a star fell with a clang!
Don’t go out in the grass with bare feet;
my yard is full of shards.

I am so anxious for the annual Star Party held at Silver Falls State Park, and am hoping for a clear night. It is my favorite event each summer.

about constellations, nebulas, and other heavenly sights. View them through
many different sizes and styles of telescopes.
